We showed a strong competitive spirit but had clear areas for tactical and technical growth. With 47% possession and a 79.8% pass completion rate, there is room to exert more control over the match.
.
Back to training! We shall work on building players confidence in maintaining possession in tight spaces and help players to make quicker decisions before the ball arrives, reducing the likelihood of losing possession under pressure.
.
Since the team is already very disciplined and competitive, focusing on the "final 10%" of composure in front of the goal will likely be the quickest way to turn these close matches into wins.
